1. MakesKnow is an online service that provides users with an Internet site with the purpose of facilitating the dissemination of intentions of selling, searching, finding work, finding a collaborator or contracting products, services or interpersonal communication through a system of Classified.

3. MakesKnow does not have access to or control over the articles or conditions of services communicated in the advertisements nor does it engage in or participate in the actual transaction between buyer / contractor, seller / supplier and demand / offer. Therefore MakesKnow does not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of the advertised articles or services, the truth or accuracy of these, the ability of sellers and providers to sell goods or services, the ability of buyers to purchase products or contractors to contract services, nor can it guarantee that both parties complete the transaction.

1. It is allowed to place an ad related to a particular item, sell article, article search, job search, search contributor. The same advertisement can not be the subject of more than one subject to be announced;
2. Ads that contain word manipulation or that are attributed to inappropriate categories may, according to these terms of conditions, be targets for measures that include their definitive removal;
3. MakesKnow is not responsible for the content of the ads, hyperlinks or sources mentioned in the description of an advertisement, with the responsibility parameters for content and links described further below in this document;
4. MakesKnow can remove or edit the descriptions placed in an ad by users, without having to mention the cause of the advertisement;
5. MakesKnow will filter ads that have images, meaning any image ads will only be published after approval. The subjection of the advertisement with image approval is intended to ensure compliance with the general terms of use.
6. MakesKnow may exclude you from using the service (eg, prevent you from logging in, from posting or replying to advertisements), when you have violated any of the terms of this term of use in this document;
7. MakesKnow strives to operate properly without fail, but reserves the right to temporarily suspend its operations for technical reasons, or causes beyond MakesKnow's control;
8. MakesKnow is not responsible for the behavior of advertisers, or items and services advertised by them, particularly as they describe in their ads. By infringing on a particular announcement the rules in force on MakesKnow, the user will assume all responsibility resulting in damages or losses before any entity, individual or collective, MakesKnow being free of any type of resulting liability;
9. MakesKnow is not responsible for any damage that occurs following a transaction, or improper behavior of one of the parties to the transaction;
10. Messages and their attachments stored in My MakesKnow remain on the system for a period of 90 days.

 

1.  In order to ensure a high quality of service to all users, prevent abusive situations or that jeopardize the performance of the service provided, MakesKnow may implement a policy of responsible use, limiting the free placement of ads in certain categories.
2. In cases where this policy is applied, a notice will be issued when placing the ad and you will have to opt for a purchase mode for additional ads. Alternatively a service that is more suitable for professional use may be recommended.

By accepting these Terms of Service, the user undertakes to:

1. Provide and maintain true, complete and up-to-date personal data;
2. Keep your access data to MakesKnow confidential and use only the record you own, assuming full responsibility for the actions performed with the same registration, even if by third parties, with or without your authorization;
3. Adopt only behavior that does not violate the current legal order or that in any way damages legally protected positions;
4. Do not submit offers to buy or sell articles, or contracting or providing services, or communication of products and services that are illegal, violent, provocative, offensive, racist or susceptible of violating the privacy or rights of third parties;
5. Comply with all obligations arising from purchases and sales of articles and provision and contracting of services communicated through your ads on MakesKnow;
6. As an advertiser, assume full and exclusive responsibility for the accuracy of the ad data and its suitability for the content of the advertisement, as well as liability for the legality of the advertised article or service.

 

 

 

MakesKnow does not undertake to check or approve, in a binding or systematic way, the ads placed on the site by users: only at this stage of launch are the ads that have image approved after the test phase, these are placed online from automatically and without any interference or control on the part of MakesKnow.
Ads integrated into the MakesKnow system, however, must meet the following basic requirements at the advertiser's responsibility:

1. Be placed in the most appropriate category for the product, service or offer;
2. The ads placed in MakesKnow, should only be referring to Offer and / or Sale and Search;
3. Advertised articles and services may not be burdened by third party rights; must have immediate availability;
4. Do not include any item that appears in the following List of Items of Sale or Prohibited Contracting:

a) Firearms and ammunition - Weapons whose use and possession require a license or prior legal authorization are not permitted. The list of weapons that require a license for use and size can be found at http://armas.mai-gov.info/frequentesqualities/ < / a>;

b) Illegal copies - copies, duplicates or "backup copies" of computer programs or audiovisual articles, including memory cards or other storage devices that offer or include, as part of the business, such copies;

c) Drugs, narcotics and tobacco;

d) Equipment for the unblocking or visualization of encoded video signals - according to Portuguese legislation currently in force (in particular through Decree-Law 176/2007 of 8 May) it is illegal to "acquire, use, own or hold in any capacity whatsoever" of devices that allow unrestricted access to conditioned, ie, coded services that require a payment for their viewing, such as for example Zon or MEO encoded channels;

e) Fireworks and derivatives;

f) Alcoholic beverages;

g) Medications or medical / pharmaceutical tests;

h) Pyramid / multi-level schemes;

i) Animals whose sale is not in accordance with the Portuguese legislation currently in force, especially all specimens listed in the CITES Annexes, in particular Annex IA, must be certified, even if they are antiques (Decree-Law No 114/90, of April 5, Ordinance No. 236/91, of March 22);

j) Modchips / Jailbreak;

k) Affiliate programs / rewards or commissions and / or business partnerships;

l) Non-explicit offers to make money / monetize time / work from home;

m) Human organs;

n) Replicas and counterfeits;

o) Craft manifestations (for example necklaces) without proper registration (National Crafts Registry);

p) Specifically with regard to Job offers, the ads should be placed in the most relevant Sub-category given their content and the functions to be performed by the contracted professionals;

q) Tarot, Horoscope and / or Seer Services;

r) Digital goods (eg: Gaming accounts / online services, unsupported software, software registrations / licenses, ebooks, electronic vouchers);

s) Vouchers, vouchers and cards of any kind;

t)Timeshare offers;

u) Equipment for games of chance, as described in Decree-Law no. 422/89;

v) Tickets valid for the Lisbon Zoo

5. Without prejudice to the above, it is not allowed to advertise content that violates the legal rules, social welfare, rights of third parties or that contains in particular:

a) Vulgar or offensive content;

b) Content that violates social etiquette rules;

c) Content that promotes hatred and violence, racism, xenophobia or conflicts between nations;

d) False or misleading information;

e) Virus or any other technology that could harm other users or even MakesKnow as a service;

f) Advertising services that compete with or against MakesKnow;

g) Explicit content for adults and / or adults over 18;

h) Placement of means of contact (email, link / URL, telephone) in the title, description or photographs associated with the advertisement;

i) Generic, catalog and / or edited photographs which are not representative of the goods actually being sold;

j) Ads that do not use the Portuguese language;

m) Advertisements must always refer expressly to the M / F Symbol and must refrain from indicating any preference for one of the sexes, in accordance with the provisions of articles 24 and 30 of the Labor Code, approved by Law nº7 / 2009, of February 12th.

n) The advertiser is responsible for complying with these requirements, and MakesKnow may cancel or delete without notice and at any time ads that do not comply with the rules set forth above.

o) The advertisers authorize MakesKnow to freely use the content corresponding to the advertisements for the purchase and sale of articles and contracting or providing services.

 

 

Users agree to receive MakesKnow newsletters as well as notifications related to MakesKnow, including any changes to these Terms of Service, to the email box associated with your registration.
